So, is it worth buying a template made exclusively for FrontPage? Seeing as most professional design firms use Dreamweaver, FrontPage templates tend to be created by amateurs. If you are a FrontPage user, however, most templates purchased from the Template Store can be opened in FrontPage without the layout being corrupted. If the layout does seem wrong, it may be better to simply edit it using a text editor such as notepad.

While there is no doubt that a skilled designer can make a good-looking site with FrontPage, the fact is that there are no reputable design agencies that make use of FrontPage for creating websites or templates, simply because of its fewer features compared with higher-priced editors.
